The first international convention exhibition completely dedicated to agritech innovation and to new soilless cultivation techniques
In the Pordenone exhibition center, on 13 and 14 February 2019 there will be a pavilion entirely dedicated to Vertical Farming and other innovative way of production, with an exhibition area and ad hoc conference sessions. And we could not be happier!

URBAN FARM 2019
Novel Farm will not consist only of conferences and exhibitions; on February 14th the Urban Farm Challenge award ceremony will also be hosted.
Open to university students from all over the world, the competition concerns the design of an urban agriculture system that integrates the best architectural and technological innovations for the production of plants in an urban environment.
Teams from Italy, China, Poland and India joined.
Student projects must be based on disused buildings in Bologna, Belluno and Conegliano. The abandoned structures will be given new life and will be converted into places of sociality, study, production and agricultural innovation, thus developing the concept of urban agriculture.
Furthermore, their design must have a strong entrepreneurial connotation, promoting the generation of new forms of employment for disadvantaged users.
UrbanFarm2019 is also an initiative with a very strong international imprint: together with Bologna and Florence work universities and research centers in Barcelona, Cartagena, Naples, Pernambuco, Smirne, Budapest and researchers from Wageningen, Berlin, Ostrava, Rome La Sapienza, Cape Town , Cairo, Catania, Tucson, Antalya, Montpellier and Angers.
What else to add? See you in Pordenone!
